Building community within the beauty and wedding industry has been one of the most rewarding parts of being a professional makeup artist and hairstylist. In 2020, when the world was experiencing the global shutdown, we all turned to the internet to stay connected. I am grateful for sharing my journey of going through my esthetician program and the struggles of navigating what the future looked like for service providers and has instilled in me the mindset of: community over competition. There are artists and beauty providers for everybody, every budget and every style. Diana is a Bay Area licensed esthetician and professional wedding makeup artist that specializes in natural and elevated makeup, focusing on skincare and skin prep. Diana also offers customized facials to support clients in reaching their skincare goals; whether it’s acne, wrinkles, or dryness, she is dedicated to helping you enhance your natural radiance and feel confident in your skin.
Through the years, Diana and I have worked side by side to share studio space in the heart of Downtown Sunnyvale at Salon Republic (and previously Sola Salon). She has supported me countless times as a Dela Paris Beauty team member to complete large bridal party wedding mornings–our largest wedding to date together was 24 services completed (with the help of 2 additional artists, Jaymee Gutierrez and Nadine Macaraeg). Diana is one of my preferred makeup artists that I personally refer my brides to who are looking for an artist who is skilled, knowledgeable about skin, and brings positivity to your morning.
